After almost 30 years, Phil and Deborah have decided to begin the transition away from full ownership of Clayfield Farm. In early 2020, they met David, Gina and their daughter Andes through Maine Farm Link and felt they found the right family for the job. Succession love at first sight.

The 2021 season will be the first working as one unit, but so far both families communicate and work well together and everyone looks forward to a fulfilling farm season!

Over the next couple of years, the farm practices and other details will start to shift, as David and Gina take over more responsibilities and share in decision making. Clayfield already has a large, new plot ready to provide for more fresh vegetables to reach many more members of the Blue Hill community.
